Conflict minerals refer to cobalt (Co), tin (Sn), tantalum (Ta), tungsten (W) and gold (Au) originating from mining areas in the Democratic Republic of the Congo or conflict zones in neighbouring countries. Since the conflict zone was controlled by armed non-governmental groups, illegal mining was carried out and human rights were violated.
Section 1502 of the Financial Reform Act of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Law, which has been published in the United States, regulates the sources of conflict minerals in products.
Our company, Shanghai King-ND Magnet Co., Ltd. hereby states that the cobalt (Co), tin (Sn), tantalum (Ta), tungsten (W) and gold (Au) contained in our products do not come from armed groups engaged in human rights abuses in the Democratic Republic of the Congo or its surrounding countries/regions, and likewise requires our suppliers to comply with the provisions prohibiting the use of “conflict minerals”.
